Spelling Bee

This year, the Spelling Bee took place for the 6^th time. All the pupils from our school could participate in this exciting spelling contest. All in all, 32 pupils of the first and second grades and 36 pupils of the third and fourth grades took part.

In this contest, the pupils had to spell different words from current topics and also former units. The correct spelling, pronunciation and time limit were judged by the English teachers of the ÖKO MS Pöchlarn. The pupils describe the contest as challenging but also incredible. All the participants were supported and loudly cheered on by their classmates.

The fact, that Armin Mehic could have won for the fourth time and went then second, shocked some of the kids.

All the winners got an “English-based” present, a 3D-printed medal and a certificate.
