Spelling Bee

It was the 5^th time that the Spelling Bee took place at our school. All the pupils could participate in the spelling contest. All in all, 30 pupils of the first and second grades and 35 pupils of the third and fourth grades took part.

In this contest, the pupils had to spell different words from current topics and also former units. The correct spelling, pronunciation and time limit were judged by the English teachers of the ÖKO MS Pöchlarn. The pupils had a lot of fun preparing themselves and posters for the Spelling Bee. All the participants were supported and loudly cheered on by their classmates.

The winners were:

1^th form                      Mohammad Jomaa

2^nd form                      Marie Waxeneker

3^rd form                      Armin Mehic (for the 3^rd time!)

4^th form                      Miriam Redl (for the 2^nd time!)

All the winners got an “English-based” present and a certificate for participating.
